This is the Union Hall in downtown Rockport, with the harbor below. Rockport is a quiet, pretty and unspoiled harborage, largely because there’s no room for it to grow. “What is that arc in the water?” my husband asked. It’s the rooster-tail of a lobster boat coming in fast.

Rockport lies on the very southern edge of the Camden Hills, which reach down to the ocean. This was painting from an aerie that was so steep, my paintbrush would have rolled down into Central Street had I dropped one.

If a painting disappoints, I will of course refund your money, on return of the painting back in my Rockport studio. Returned art must be properly packaged, with corner protectors as required and insured to its full value.
