Sometimes the “wall of green” flummoxes painters. They want to capture the energy of a summer day, but they can’t divide the colors in an exciting way. I’m helped along because I see all kinds of other colors in green.

I saw these trees in a park while I was traipsing around doing nothing serious. Luckily, my painting kit is never far away.

Some summer days, the light and color are so brilliant that they are hardly to be believed. I tried to capture this in this little plein air painting.

If a painting disappoints, I will of course refund your money, on return of the painting back in my Rockport studio. Returned art must be properly packaged, with corner protectors as required and insured to its full value.
